Hello everyone.
Back again with the first creation of the year, Calendar 2013. Was given an opportunity to be Guest Designer of the month on ICR, the challenge of the month being New Year 2013 Calendar + Recycle or upcycle something ICRC25, for which I made an Easel Calendar.
Making a calendar for the first time. Since the challenge was to recycle something I have used an empty cereal box for the base of the calendar. The flower is made of wire which is covered with old magazine paper and shaped into spirals.

For the butterfly I used some beads saved from my daughters necklace
which gave way. Finished off the edge of the calendar with paper rope
handle form some shopping bag.
