Shabby Chic Explosion box

Hello Fellow Crafters,

Back with another project. Its another explosion box....Shabby chic this time. This is my first of its kind...Never tried this technique before. The box has 3 layers with tags and spaces for photos.

The Box

Open Box
This is how the box looks when open.

Layer 1
The first layer has a band to hold the tag / photo mat.  All edges have been distressed and curled tho give that shabby look.

Layer 2
For the second layer I have made pockets to hoed the tags.

Layer 3
The third layer has corner pockets to hold the tags.

Closer view of the Lid
Closer look at the lid. The flowers are made using the technique showed by Ujjwal in one of her online workshop. Thanks Ujjwal.
Closer view of  Picket Fence
Here is a closer view of the Picket Fence which is hand cut.

    1. Thanks Dr Sonia. Miss doing parchment myself. But it takes a lot of time to get one project done. With two little ones around it gets a little difficult. Will surely try to put up something soon.
